Welcome back to a new school year! I haven’t been on the blog for the summer holiday’s as my mum and dad wanted me to have a rest from blogging since I was so busy last year with it So I hope that you will still like following me on my blog.
I had a busy summer holiday, firstly we had Christmas then we went down to Warnambool for my cousin Belen’s 1st birthday. It was a long car ride, but lucky I had my i pod touch which I got for christmas to play on!
Then it was my brother Oliver’s 4th birthday and we had a family day down at the Bellarine Adventure Mini Golf which was really cool! And 3 days later it was my mum’s birthday and we went to see the new ‘Muppets’ Movie which was really funny My brother loves the drums so ‘Animal” was his favourite
I also planted a vegie garden, played on our slip and slide, had some sleepovers and watched ‘Horrible Histories’ ALOT!!!! My mum and dad also bought me a DVD of it so on those hot days I just kept watching it!

Today the grade twos went to the Marine Discovery Centre and we leant lots of wonderful things today we leant so much i can’t rember all that we leant! I would like to go there again some day. Some of the animals where dead and some where alive. it was fun to go there. it is really fun to go with school!

I wrote about Adventure Park and what I really liked about it and I think it’s so cool that I get to put it on someone else’s website so lots of other people will see how much I love to blog

I’ve been going to knitting classes for almost 2 months. I go to a shop that sells wool and sewing things right here in Leopold. I go on a friday night at 4.30pm for about 30 minutes.
I have started making a toy mouse and I made my mum a bookmark which had lots of different colours on it. I can knit purl stitch and plain stitch. I can cast on and cast off with some help from my teacher.
What I like about knitting is that you can make all sorts of things out of wool. I think it’s pretty cool that you can make so many things out of a ball of wool. I hope that one day I can make a jumper or a scarf!

On my school holiday’s I went with my family to visit Phillip Island. It was a long drive from our house and we even took the ferry from Queenscliff to Sorrento which was fun. It took almost 3 hours from leaving our house to get there!
We stayed in a house with my mum, dad, Oliver and me. Also my Uncle Neale, Aunty Laura and my 2 cousins Emelia and Henry.
I had a great time with my Aunty, Uncle, Mum, Dad, Oliver and 2 cousins. We did lots of fun things together. I was very lucky because we got to go and see the Penguins, Churchill Island and the Koala Conservation Park. My favourite part of my holiday was going to Churchill Island. It’s an old fashioned farm that you could go and visit and we got to milk a cow, feed some horses and see a sheepdog round up the sheep and some turkey’s!
The penguins were pretty cool, even though we sat in the rain to see them it was still fun!

Hi my name is Ben. I am Charlotte’s best friend and I am a tiger. Hope she doesn’t mind that I have logged onto her blog and put a post up about myself!
I thought I would tell you some things I like to do. My favourite things to do are sleep, be cheeky, ruffle Charlotte’s hair when she is asleep and hang out with my friends, Scraps the Dog, Finny the Elephant and Francesca the Cat. We like to play Scrabble when Charlotte is at school, I like to make up words to put on the board!
I also like to go with Charlotte when she has a sleep over at her friends’ houses because then I can hang out with her friends’ teddies! It’s great to meet new friends

Today I have been reading a book about: Mr Badger and the big surprise and there are lots of different books about his adventures. I am looking forward to the other books as well!
My favourite Books are: Magic fairies, Mr Badger, Baby-sitters Club little sister (which are books from when my mum was young!) and Enid Blyton. My favourite magazines which I buy with my pocket money are Total Girl, Girl Power and Little Angel.
I would like to start Harry Potter with my dad soon.
There are two types of book and they are Fiction and Non-Fiction. Non-Fiction are books about real things and Fiction are books of stories that are not real.
I read in bed most nights just by myself. I read with my mum and dad too and sometimes with Ben (Ben is my tiger and he is my friend). I also read with my brother Oliver.
We also love to go to the library a lot! The rule in our house is when you turn 3, you get to have your OWN library card! I think that is pretty cool!
I thought my next post could be about how much I love music! I am just learning to play the guitar so I thought I could do a short video showing everyone the chords I know. I know 3 already, A chord, D chord and G chord. I am really enjoying learning how to play the guitar.
My dad is in my video with me. He is a really good guitar player! He taught himself when he was a teenager. He plays in a band called ‘Out of the Blue’ and our music teacher Mr Stribley plays the drums in that band which I think is pretty cool!
My favourite music is ‘The Beatles’,'Hannah Montana’, ‘Taylor Swift’,'Kelly Clarkson’, ‘Demi Lorvato’ and ‘Out of the Blue’! I like music I can dance and sing too!
Almost everyday after I get home from school, I go into my bedroom and dance to my favourite songs!
I’ve had a really busy week as last tuesday it was my birthday! I was 8!
Birthdays are so exciting aren’t they? I had an afternoon tea with my family which included my Mum, Dad, my brother Oliver, my Aunty Laura and Uncle Neale and their children Emelia and Henry, my Aunty Poli and Uncle Ash and their children William and Belen plus my Grandma, Papa, Grandpa, Nana and my my dad’s Nana too!!! So many people I felt VERY special!
I was very lucky to get some wonderful presents…my mum and dad said I got TOO many (but I don’t think so!)
Then on Saturday, I had a pool party at Leopold Swim School (where I do my weekly swimming lessons). I was allowed to invite 12 of my friends to come along and my cousins came to that party too! We had a fantastic time playing games and eating gluten free party food! My mum made it all gluten free (except for the fairy bread!) even the lolly bags!
Many of you may not know that I have Coeliac disease which means I am allergic to wheat and wheat products (gluten). My dad has this too. It can be hard to find yummy foods, but my mum made it all from scratch so I can still enjoy all the party treats!
